About Facilitators
Field Meridians is an artist collective committed to strengthening local food ecologies. Through site-specific programming, publishing, and radio broadcast, Field Meridians engages the Crown Heights community to lay the foundations for food sovereignty in the heart of Brooklyn.
Objective
Welcome in the Autumn season and celebrate our community-powered seed library through squash seed saving and planting, seed packet decorating, and cooking. We’ll be hosting three workshops (schedule below) at the Brooklyn Public Library, Brower Park branch.
3:30 pm – Local squash seed-saving
4:00 pm – Cooking with Squash
4:30 pm – Squash printing
